Board the hype train again! Choo choo!
Kabam released today a new developer diary detailing what’s coming up in the next couple of months for Shop Titans.
Below is a transcript of the video:
It’s time for us to look at what’s coming for the rest of the year. In November we are finally releasing the shop basement, a new feature that will allow you to store your racks and bins whilst keeping their functionality, allowing you to free up visual space and decorate your shop as you see fit.
Then, in December, we have 2 new workers coming to the world of Shop Titans – the dragon siblings. First comes the Sun Dragon and the synthesis vessel, available to all for free allowing you to combine items together to create high quality items for precrafts or gearing up your heroes. But this will not be possible without the help of moonstones which will drop from quests, chests and other locations or you can craft them with the help of the Moon Dragon, the premium worker, similar to how runestones work for the Scholar and enchanting.
I would like to thank everyone for their continued support in these strange times. The team is working very hard to keep up the pace with these updates with everything that is happening right now, and it wouldn’t be possible without you. Stay tuned for more updates coming in 2021 once the team comes back from their well deserved holiday break.
This is going to be amazing. A common complaint among players with maxed expansions is the lack of freedom in decorating as you try to cram 80 objects into your 3×3 area.
Note: The basement will not grant any bonus space. It allows you to clear up clutter in your shop to allow more freedom in decorating. You will also not be able to physically interact with it either – it will exist as an off-screen thing.

Being able to merge items together to create higher-quality ones is going to be interesting – in theory it should be a lot easier now to gear your heroes without having to spend hundreds of gems if you wanted top quality items. We can only speculate a bit at this point though until we know how common moonstones are, the amount of items required to upgrade etc.
Promising times ahead.

I’m really excited for both things. Especially the basement. Thanks for posting this!
