Blueprints
This is the first T8 gauntlet blueprint that’s not baseline we’ve ever had and T8 has been out since late 2019. It also has an ascension milestone which boosts its favour value – this can prove handy1for lower level crafters during KC.
From a crafting perspective
So what’s cool here is the essence reduction is already built-in – no need to spend shards or anything to make it lower. It also has an ascension milestone that increases its favour value which makes it worth a fair bit of points during caprice.
Given it falls into the accessory category for DI you can presume it’s dead there.
From a meta perspective
The new best tanking potion has arrived. We swap this in wherever Fragrant Moisturizer was being used before and it’s worth considering if your potion bearer is going splat a lot.

Iron obsession etc etc. Like the potion it has the essence reduction built in and comes with a handy favour increase ascension milestone, though I do not foresee there being a high demand for this item.
From a Meta perspective
This is terrible:
- Comically low attack value.
- Dual-wield weapons exist which wipe the floor with it for damage
- There are weapons with better defensive options for tanks.

Summary
- That’s us out of dungeon themed packs until next tier.
- A new tank potion and some handy +favour milestones.
- And the worst axe known to man.
- I was tempted to repeat my review for the Onyx King Axe but I know Neri would have done her disapproving glare.
We’re aware the favour symbol doesn’t load properly on the blueprints, work-in-fixed.
Final Score
Mega Pack: 8/10
Superior Pack: 2/10 cannot recommend.
