From a crafting perspective

Of note is that every blueprint in this pair of mega & superior packs has a gold milestone increase of x1.5 instead of x1.25 which is pretty cool. Nothing else of note.

From a meta perspective

Hey look it’s a low tier piece of light armor with evasion on it, that’s new and original. Stick with the Jester Outfit from tier 8 if you need the evasion – it has an extra 1% on it.

From a crafting perspective

Thanks to its gold milestone the Royal Meal is a food item with a really good value not seen outside of the platinum ones. Not too bad on the crafting cost front either.

As for Dragon Invasion, well it ain’t exactly a spell soooo no.

From a meta perspective

It’s not a bad meal, just meals don’t really have a good spot in the meta right now – pretty much every place you’d run one in has a better option you could be using from a different line. That said if you find your druids needing a bit more def instead of health it has its uses there.

From a crafting perspective

Take the baseline staff and do a little ctrl + c ctrl + v magic. No timewarp component use which is great to see, albeit the elysium component it uses instead also tends to run quite high in cost.

Just forget it exists for Dragon Invasion.

From a meta perspective

Woo, a staff. Yay. Meta defining item here, clearly the new best weapon to be used on every caster who can run it.

You can use it on Archmages over the The Pain Brush if you find yourself needing the health more, though it’s a slight damage decrease due to not having all affinity.

From a crafting perspective

Hi there crafting costs, how high can you go today? With 5 kingtoplasm and 5 divine spark it’s a little bit pricey on the component front. Whilst the x1.5 gold multiplier helps it really could have done with being higher.

Now for Dragon Invasion this gun is awesome and with it having gold affinity it’s a very competitive option if you hate money.

From a meta perspective

It’s a great gun, just we’ve also just recently had another great gun (the Particle Thrower.) Which one to use depends entirely if you need the survival stats from thrower – if you don’t then run the Royal Handcannon.

• Some fancy looking items, albeit at a higher crafting cost.
• Royal Frame is best-in-slot frame in my heart.
