Mega Pack

Slithering Scepter (T5 Staff)
Malady Plushie / Malady’s Lamp (Indoor Decorations)
Malady’s Outfit / Malady’s Blinder (Avatar Items)
Blueprint
From a crafting perspective
Slithering Scepter requires a little more resources to craft than usual, but not by much. It’s a perfectly serviceable low tier craft.
This is a pretty good option for DI thanks to it being a weapon with CHC on it. You likely have better unless you’re super new, however.
From a meta perspective
CHC on weapons is always useful and it helps generally weaker item lines punch a bit above their weight class. That being said, “survive the quest” is usually a high priority when your heroes are low enough for this to be a current tier option, so you’ll likely be using other options with HP or Defense as a secondary stat.
From a crafting perspective
Malady’s Robe uses slightly less Fabric than average, has four Timewarped components (can be reduced to three), and the 11 Essence cannot be reduced. It’s a little pricy to craft so it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for a new fabric crafting option.
This is a really good choice for DI. It’s the #6 item if you’re not enchanting and comes with a really nice Affinity that helps if you are double enchanting. Sia’s Fancy Outfit and Princely Attire are still better even considering the double Affinity on Malady’s Robe.
From a meta perspective
HP secondary armor items are always fantastic for survivability, and this is no exception. This is a great choice for all Spellcasters (and Monks) who want to add some bulk into their item sets. Malady’s Robe enchanted with any element is better than Wave Abbot Gi and Fey Haute Couture when enchanted with their respective Affinity elements.
Superior Pack

Biting Bolts (T15 Quiver)
Medusa Chair (Indoor Decoration)
Medusa Mirror (Avatar Item)
Malady’s Tiles / Malady’s Wall (Flooring / Wallpaper)
Blueprints
From a crafting perspective
Biting Bolts uses Iron and Fabric, so it might be tricky to fit into your rotation. It also costs five Timewarped components (can be reduced to four) and its 11 Essence can be dropped to 9 via Ascension. Overall it’s a slightly below average craft.
As far as non-Spell Accessory items in DI go, this isn’t awful, but Cloaks tend to be much better. Plus the whole “Spells are easily the best Accessory for DI to the point of making basically everything else irrelevant” thing.
From a Meta perspective
This is the first Attack Quiver, which is great. If you’re not aware / if that doesn’t make sense, item lines that always come with dual stats (so Quivers, Meals, and Herbal Medicine) don’t change what stats are on the item, but they do change how they’re distributed. They will lean towards increasing one of their two stats at the slight lowering of the other, or sometimes slightly increasing both stats. Biting Bolts is the second premium Quiver we’ve gotten since the line was introduced and the first one to lean towards Attack. Santa’s Present Bag (the prior premium Quiver) had its Defense boosted instead. Biting Bolts’ base Attack is roughly on par with that of a Ring, which is great because Rings are the second best Attack Accessory after Spells. If you have a ranged weapon using hero looking for some extra oomph (especially Bow wielding Samurai, GunZerkers, and Crossbow DKs), then this is a good choice.
From a crafting perspective
Malady’s Memento is almost identical of a craft to the baseline Trophy of Fangs, only swapping one of the Mastery bonuses from Jungle component to Iron reduction. Overall it’s alright.
DI, Accessory, not a Spell, previously explained.
From a Meta perspective
HP secondary Amulets are a phenomenal choice for any hero who needs to get some defensive power. It’s a really good choice on Rogues thanks to the Ouroboros affinity as well, allowing you to get some Defense and HP regen. This is a great option if you need the bulk.
