Impackt: Sia Champion

Don’t tell Sia about this.

Mega Pack

Sia’s Fancy Outfit (T15 Light Armor)
Sia’s Gloves (T5 Gloves)
Sia Plushie (Indoor Decoration)
Sia’s Curtains (Wall Decoration)
Sia’s Tambourine / Sia’s Pants (Avatar Items)

Blueprints

Pretty unremarkable T5 Glove craft. Sia’s Gloves are slightly more costly to craft than the other premium T5 Glove, Ostara Gloves.

Usage-wise, it’s a pair of Gloves with Evasion on them. We have a fair amount of these at this point so they don’t do a ton to stand out. That said, they help bridge the gap between the T3 Patchleather Bracers and the T9 Mountain Man Mitts.

From a crafting perspective

Sia’s Fancy Outfit is a fairly standard T15 Cloth craft. The components can’t be reduced, but it only needs three Timewarped ones. The Jewel cost can be cut nearly in half.

Owing heavily to its Evasion stat, this is a great option for DI and pretty handily crushes any of the other options if you’re not enchanting. It’s still great even if you’re not enchanting your stuff, but Evasion doesn’t scale with enchants for DI power so other options might still be better.

From a meta perspective

Evasion on a Light Armor item is both rare and extremely welcome. If your Rogues aren’t slippery enough, then these will help a lot. Otherwise stick to what you’re currently using.

Superior Pack

Sia’s Sandals (T15 Light Footwear)
Sia’s Royal Mantle (T15 Cloak)
Pampas Grass / Sia’s Divan (Indoor Decoration)
Elegant Flooring / Elegant Wall (Flooring / Wallpaper)

Blueprints

From a crafting perspective

The Jewel cost can’t be reduced but is pretty reasonable, it has a pretty average Timewarped cost, and the Essence can be reduced from base 11 (average for T15 so far) all the way to 6, making Sia’s Sandals a pretty good crafting option. If you missed the Plushie pack, this might be worth considering for your crafting rotation.

Shoes traditionally aren’t that great for DI unless they have CHC or Evasion on them. These don’t really stand out much and don’t make the top 10. There are better options.

From a Meta perspective

What did we say about Steel-Studded Boots in the recent Heavy Metal pack?

“To quote Rei from the Summer Vibes Impackt however, “Good stats for an offensive pair of shoes however they will struggle to outpace Voidwalkers – the 5% crit Voidwalkers have means they’ll essentially dominate the shoe slot until something much heavier hitting lands.” These definitely do not qualify as a much heavier hitter.”

Yeah, that.

From a crafting perspective

Sia’s Royal Mantle is a pretty average T15 craft. Base 11 Essence that can be knocked down to 9, costs three Timewarped components, the Silk cost can be reduced by a lot, and that’s about it.

It’s been a little bit since we got to use this one: “For DI, it’s an Accessory that’s not a Spell”.

From a Meta perspective

HP / Def Cloaks are always great. Fighters love them and a couple Rogue / Spellcaster classes can use them to get some great longevity if death is a problem. Swap to this if you’re using Giant Moth Wings already. Barbarians, Rangers, and Berserkers in particular will love this item thanks to the Affinity.

Summary

  • Each item is a pretty good crafting option on its own, but three items that all require the same T2 / T3 / T4 resource combo is pretty ick and is a nock against the pack.
  • Dodge ALL the things!
  • Shame the pack didn’t come with a tambourine Instrument as well – then your Dancers could cosplay as Sia.

Final Score

Mega Pack: 7/10
Superior Pack: 6/10
