Funnily enough, Lilu’s Shoes are the most “normal” T5 Shoe blueprint we have in terms of crafting. They require the standard Leather / Silk resources, in contrast to Midnight Zori and Elven Shoes which both require a second T1 resource. Its component cost is very manageable as well, making this a pretty solid low tier craft. It’s also a surprisingly good option for DI – the Evasion secondary stat lets it punch a bit above its weight class.

Levelling Rogues are having a really good time right about now. These aren’t the first low tier Evasion Shoes (Nightwing at T7 beat them to the punch), but more options let you keep their equipment up to date a little better. Levelling Spellcasters won’t really get a ton of use out of these due to the secondary Evasion stat.

From a crafting perspective

Iron and Ether is a bit of an awkward combination but it’s not bad. The Essence cost is locked to 7 and can’t be reduced, so that’s a bit of a shame. Component cost can be a bit expensive so this is overall decent but not great. This is the first Iron BP we’ve gotten in a while, so you can consider picking it up if you’re looking for a new one.

For DI, it’s an Accessory that’s not a Spell. hey wait a minute. Since this one IS a Spell, it’s automatically a great choice and the clear #2 option. Chronomancer’s Timetable from early in the T14 tier is still a smidge better since Defense scales better here, but this is still leaps ahead of basically everything else.

From a meta perspective

Lilu’s Starfall is easily the new BiS Spell for everybody who can use it (except for Spellknights who still want the T13 Sealed Hurricane). It has higher base Attack than Chronomancer’s Timetable and the HP secondary stat is generally more useful. Chronomancers / Fateweavers specifically may get more mileage out of sticking to Timetable since the Affinity gives it very slightly higher Attack, but that’s going to be up to you. I would still recommend swapping to Starfall for the HP.

From a crafting perspective

Nine Essence and requiring a Sigil make this one a little spicy at first glance, but both can be reduced via Ascension. Essence drops to a much more standard seven and the Sigil is removed entirely. It’s otherwise pretty comparable to Angler’s Veil and Frostfire Catalyst from earlier in the tier. This is a pretty good option if you’re looking for a new Silk item.

For DI, it’s not amazing. Lilu’s Secret Hat just barely makes it into the top 20 for Miscellaneous Armor. If you’ve picked up almost any item in this slot this tier, you probably have better. Magician Hats typically suffer here though, so that’s not a surprise.

From a Meta perspective

Lilu’s Secret Hat is a direct upgrade over Angler’s Veil and a strong choice overall due to the secondary HP stat. If you’re not running a T14 Magician Hat, I would highly recommend switching to this one – it’s a great option. Even if you’re using Frostfire Catalyst, it might be worth considering making the switch as well.

From a crafting perspective

‘Normal’ resource combination, only has one component (so four resources required total), manageable Essence cost, yep! Pollux Focus ticks basically all of the boxes to be a great crafting option.

For DI, this is a really strong option. It’s top five for Weapons due to being from a high Attack weapon line and packing a Defense secondary stat.

From a Meta perspective

Finally, a T14 premium Wand! We’ve been making jokes about this one for a while. While it’s relatively normal to be this late into a tier and not have a premium option for an item line, it’s quite rare for it to be a weapon. Given its only other competition is a baseline crafted item from the beginning of the tier, yes. Pollux Focus is easily the new BiS Wand and is worth switching to for all your Wand users.

Summary

• Spellcasters are having a great time right now, but this pack is an absolute FEAST for Geomancers / Astramancers.
• All three T14s are phenomenal and even the low tier option is great. Everything is “good” at minimum, even from the crafting side.
• I guess we know where all the good items from the last few packs have gone.
• Decoration rating: Pollux Plushie / 10
• How is this review the first time we used an “owl” pun for this pack?
• We finally got a Wand, so I guess we need a new running joke to close these out with.
