Today in “let’s mix up the lower tier item” we have a tier 8 shield that gives +7% critical hit chance. This is an interesting option that can be considered by crit-based Astramancers and Spellknights, though it will come at the cost of a fairly large amount of survivability.

From a crafting perspective

Whilst Wayfinder’s Outfit starts a bit higher on the essence front the ascension will lower it to 4, bringing it in line with what we can consider the standard amount for tier 13 after reduction. The ether cost can be brought down to 28 as well and what’s nice here is the ether reduction is the 2nd milestone on the mastery track, meaning you can obtain it early.

It’s not as good a craft as the Garbs of Morpheus was from the Sweet Dreams pack but if you missed that (or just want to craft a more offensive based item) it’s a solid choice.

From a meta perspective

With this we now have options again for rogue-types when it comes to tier 13 Light Armour. Use the Wayfinder’s Outfit on heroes where you need more damage (sensei for example can be big fans of this) and stick to Garbs of Morpheus if you find them dying a lot or are unsure which would be best for you.

From a crafting perspective

Pretty much a downgrade from the Wayfinder’s Outfit in the mega pack – the essence reduction only drops it down to 5 and the ether reduction is not as high either. I mean the only way you’re getting this without the outfit is by buying this in a flashback in future/antique store so presuming you got it recently by buying the mega, don’t rush to craft this over the wayfinder.

From a meta perspective

With this we now have options again for rogue-types when it comes to tier 13 Light Armour Rogue Hats. Use the Wayfinder’s Outfit Wereboar’s Hood on heroes where you need more damage (sensei for example can be big fans of this) and stick to Garbs of Morpheus Hooded Iggaak if you find them dying a lot or are unsure which would be best for you.
