pssst. dont get bogged down in the details.
Mega Pack

Waterproof Lilyrobe (T6 Clothes)
Toadwitch Cauldron (Outdoor Decoration)
Swamp Lamp (Wall Decoration)
Lilypad Outfit / Blooming Lotus (Avatar Items)
Blueprints
Waterproof Lilyrobe uses an unusual resource combination of Herbs, Oil, and Silk, which makes it difficult to fit into a crafting rotation (unless you also craft something that only uses Leather, no Silk). Component cost is a bit high requiring ten in total, but it can be knocked down to seven.
Usage-wise, this fills a very helpful role as an Armor item with an HP secondary stat. It will bridge the gap between the T5 Tailor Mantle and the T7 Aang’s Robe.
From a crafting perspective
Bubbling Cauldron has a pretty “normal” resource combination of a T1 / T2 pair and Essence, so fitting it into your rotation should be pretty simple. It uses four Timewarped components and the pretty normal 11 Essence. Essence can be reduced to 8 via Ascension.

From a meta perspective
Attack secondary Potions have a useful (but slightly niche) place for attackers who want to get some bulk or for Fighters who want to dip their toes into dealing some damage. They fill a similar role to Attack secondary Desserts but have more Attack / less HP. Notably, Musketeers and Samurai (if not using a Bow) can get great use out of something like this.
In practice, this type of item isn’t something most heroes are going to be immediately jumping for. Outside of those two classes, maybe Chieftains, and some edge cases like if you want to make your spellblade significantly worse, stick to what you’ve currently got.
Superior Pack

Frogsong Gong (T15 Instrument)
Swamp View (Wall Decoration)
Backyard Pond (Outdoor Decoration)
Lilypad / Bog Evening (Flooring / Wallpaper)
Blueprints
From a crafting perspective
Bogbound Terror does something really unusual – it flips the Quality and Time Reduction milestones. On T15 with the long craft timers we have, this is a knock against it by itself. Essence cost starts at 10 which is a tad lower than average, but it can’t be reduced. It also has four Timewarped components which is alright. Overall this makes it a slightly below average craft.
Axes are a generally weak weapon type and HP is a worse secondary stat than Defense for Airship Power, so this is not great. It doesn’t crack the top 20.
From a Meta perspective
Nook and Cranny exists and absolutely smokes this in terms of Attack. Defensively, you almost always have better options. Skip this one.
From a crafting perspective
Frogsong Gong is a little expensive in terms of resource cost, but that’s pretty normal for Instruments. It uses four Timewarped components (reduced to 3 with Ascension), 12 Essence that can be reduced to 10 with Mastery, and that’s about all.
This thing is amazing for DI. If you’re not using Wyrmbane Cannon AND enchanting it, Frogsong Gong absolutely crushes everything else.
From a Meta perspective
Instruments are the best weapon type in the game, so it’s a great choice on any attacker who can use it.

Summary
- Decent crafting options, but most of the current tier items are really niche or bad.
- Frogsong Gong is easily the best weapon for DI and will (likely) not be dethroned for a while.
- (Unless you double enchant everything, then Wyrmbane is still better)
- Slightly surprising that only two of these items use Herbs, given the two that don’t are made of leaves.
- I suppose making the swamp-themed Instrument a banjo was a bit too much of a low-hanging fruit.

One reply on “Impackt: Whispering Bog Vol II”
After three and a half years, I can put the Lilyrobe, Lilycloak and Lilyhat all on the same hero! (As Vanity Gear of course – actually equipping T6 items on anyone who can also equip a T11 would be a needless hindrance).
Perhaps in 2028 we can get Lilygloves and Lilyboots?
