?Wild wild west?

Hotshot Bowgun (T7 Bow)
Rodeo Bull/Saloon Barrel (Decorations)
Cowboy Hat/Cowboy Outfit (Avatar Items)
Blueprints

300 ATK/75 DEF
Affinity: Fire
170 Wood/43 Ironwood/50 Iron/4 Star Metal
A pleasant option for lower tier wood crafting – with ascensions you can completely remove the iron requirement. It also looks cool imo.

380 DEF/95 ATK
Affinity: Fire
404 Leather/123 Fabric/34 Ether/1 Sigil of True Grace/3 Crush Claw
From a crafting perspective
It wasn’t that long ago we got a tier 12 light armor blueprint (Stylish Poncho) though this time around we’re looking at a slightly lower ether cost post-ascension and it uses a much cheaper component. A solid option for your leather crafting slot.
From a meta perspective
Conquistadors have been begging for a good fire-affinity pack item they can use and the Desperado Outfit delivers. It offers a respectable amount of defence and provides a nice damage increase as well which goes great with their thirst for high damage crits.
Now that being said, outside of conquistador we should not be so quick to dismiss the Stylish Poncho – although it doesn’t look as awesome it does provide much more survivability and ultimately a dead hero isn’t going to do any damage (well, physically anyway. Seeing their body on the ground might provide some psychological damage to the enemy.)
Using Desperado also means having to pass up on the 5% evasion from Cat Burglar Outfit if you were running that but it’s a trade-off worth making.
Bottom line: Desperado if you’re a conquistador, consider the alternatives if not (though Desperado wouldn’t be a bad choice.)

Superior Pack

Hotshot Carbine (T12 Gun)
Dustbowl Horizon/Dustbowl Lands (Wallpaper/Flooring)
Blueprints

345 DEF/21 HP
Affinity: Fire
380 Leather/110 Fabric/35 Ether/1 Sigil of True Grace/2 Raw Obsidian
From a crafting perspective
Leather blueprints appear to be the cool thing at Kabam recently (though admittedly with a pack theme like this they were kind of restricted on options.) As a shoe blueprint goes it’s not bad compared against the baseline T12 print. As a leather blueprint for your crafting slot goes though you’d be better off with some of the other recent options we got (say for example, the blueprint from the mega pack.)
From a meta perspective
The Desperado Spurs bring much love to the fire-affinity line and easily take the spot as the best-in-slot option for shoes (presuming you don’t need the affinity from another piece of course.) It offers a great amount of survivability whilst also looking stylish to boot.

950 ATK/238 DEF
Affinity: Fire
430 Wood/115 Ironwood/25 Jewels/1 Sigil of True Might/3 Crush Claw
From a crafting perspective
A non-standard pairing for the gun line but a very welcome one – the Hotshot Carbine is a fantastic option for your wood crafting slot. The jewel cost can be reduced to 20 and it’s again using the cheapest of the Cinderlake materials – can be lowered to 2 via ascension making it fairly affordable.
From a meta perspective
Yeah basically no reason not to be using this if your hero can wear it (and doesn’t have a skill for another weapon type obv 😛 .) It’s best-in-slot and beats every other weapon in the game by a significant margin. Incredibly high damage and a fantastic defence value makes it the undisputed king.
Summary
- Hotshot Bowgun frankly needs to decide what it wants to be.
- Desperado Outfit is a great light armor and will be popular for conquistadors.
- Desperado Spurs are the new best shoes in town.
- Hotshot Carbine is the best weapon in the game at the moment.
- ?when I roll into the wild wild west?

You have to purchase the base pack before the superior.
Does it take a while for the superior pack to appear after you buy the base pack?
