Airship Power is always a really handy stat which makes this a pretty good crafting option and lets it punch above its weight class. Beyond that however, it’s a T9 item where nothing really stands out.

Hero-wise, axes are underwhelming. They’re tied with Maces, Spears, and Daggers for the weakest weapon types in the game. This has a nice HP secondary stat, but there’s almost always going to be a better option.

From a crafting perspective

Essence cost is a little high at 7 after Ascension. The component cost is pretty manageable and we have a non-metal item for a nice change of pace.

It’s a good option for DI and is in the top 10. Having a T14 Spirit affinity is pretty nice for that as well.

From a meta perspective

CHC secondary on what’s often a pretty disposable item slot makes this an immediately fantastic item. Any attacker who can use Gloves (and isn’t holding a Kiku) will make great use out of this. Be careful though – it’s getting really easy to go full crit glass cannon and lose sight of the whole “stay alive” thing with items like this. Still, if you’re going to slot a CHC item into your hero’s equipment set, this is a strong option since Gloves tend to be a little lackluster anyway (you’re not going to be giving up much in most cases).

From a crafting perspective

Slightly higher than average Essence cost with nine (reduced to seven with Ascension), but otherwise most of what was said about the Gloves above applies here as well. The Silk cost is a little high and while it does have a precraft, that can be removed via mastery.

This is a pretty great option for DI as well. It’s a top 5 Body Armor item and has a T14 Spirit affinity too.

From a Meta perspective

This item looks like a direct upgrade over Titan Admiral Coat on the surface, but Titan has an extremely useful Affinity to back it up. If you’re already using that on your Rogues, I wouldn’t bother switching (especially if you’re using a Titan spirit on it). If you’re getting that Affinity elsewhere (or are just not using it for whatever reason – you really should be unless the hero isn’t promoted), AND your Rogue doesn’t need the extra bulk from Lacrosse Set, then this is a good choice.
