STC – 5 Years on

Celebrating our 5th year with our biggest worker giveaway yet (and a promo code!)

Disclaimer: Thanks to Kabam for sponsoring this giveaway! Special thanks to Kabam Richard who is a pretty awesome hamster¹².

We reserve the right to reject your entry if your name/answer is considered inappropriate (i.e. it’d break Kabam’s ToS) or you have a leaderboard ban.

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED

April 25th marks the 5th anniversary of STC (you can view our first ever post on our old domain here) and that means it’s time for our annual review and then (the real reason you’re here) our major giveaway! Let’s recap some of the events of the past 12 months:

• Artifacts were added as a new fun thing to not get in chests going by my track record and then Kabam kinda just forgot minor ones exist.
• The bounty system was overhauled, making it fun for a lot more players than it previously was³.
• The long requested party feature was introduced, allowing us to not have to constantly tell the game “no, don’t put all the spellknights together please.”
• Roland arrived in the city, helping save those heroes who got a ick skill in slot 3.
• STC-Hub had its 2nd year anniversary, and Neri is finally going to stop using a toaster so it’ll be fancier in future⁴.
• We travelled through time to the Ancient Jungle to timewarp components for tier 15, as well as avenge Jurassic Park.
• And lots more!

Moving onto the main event then, the giveaways! As our long term readers may remember our anniversary is when we give away some of the cooler prizes. This year we are giving 5 lucky winners a paid worker of their choice (or a pile of gems instead if they prefer!)

In the interests of accessibility (i.e. not having Archon run a near impossible one :D) and cutting down the amount of admin work⁵ we’re just going to be running 1 super giveaway in this post, from which the 5 winners will be determined. Enter your id, pick your wanted prize and answer the questions below. Each correct answer gets you 1 entry – all answers can be found on this page.

Please make sure your player name and # number are correct. We need both – some people enter just the # number and that alone isn’t enough to identify you.

This giveaway will run until 28th April 23:59:59 UTC+0 (this is 1 second before piggy bank resets.) 5 winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries after the deadline has passed. One entry per player only – multiple entries may result in disqualification (see the FAQ at the end of this post.)

And that’s not all we have planned! Much like we did last year we wanted to make sure everyone got something for our anniversary celebration and so, thanks to Neri, we once again have a promocode running for the celebration that’ll give you some sweet in-game prizes!

F58735KREE

• This code will give you
  • 55 Research Scrolls,
  • 55 Ascension Shards,

• This code will be active until the 28th of April 00:00 UTC+0.

Giveaway FAQ
“I entered the same giveaway twice by accident!”
-I’m aware the system isn’t exactly flawless when it comes to entries – so long as they’re within a few minutes of each other I’ll just disregard the duplicate. If it’s longer than that (say a day for example) contact me before it ends so I can fix it, otherwise you’ll be disqualified.

“I’m not sure you got my entry”
-Drop a message on the STC discord with your name and I can check (note due to discord’s weird new username system I don’t accept friend requests unless you share one of the main ST discords with me. Please reach out on our discord if you need confirmation of entry.)

“I entered the giveaway and won but I already bought the worker cause I thought I’d lose.”
-You’ll be given a gem equivalent amount instead.

“What’s jaffa?”
-Mate pick either answer it really doesn’t matter.
