STC – 6 Years On

It’s the 25th of April which means we’ve reached the 6th anniversary of STC (you can view our first ever post on our old domain here) and so it’s time for our annual review and then (the real reason you’re here) our major giveaway! Let’s take a look at some of the highlights of the past 12 months:

• The collection card feature was added, which was 100% totally balanced fairly on release and was incredibly well received by the playerbase.
• Major adjustments to said collection card feature were made, including the beautfiul but brief time window where you could infinitely sustain fusing card packs.
• Argon was turned into stone and the community failed to save him, sadly developer hax ensued to free him.
• Tower of Titans was moved to run all month instead of 4 days, making it so much less stressful if you missed a day.
• Not one but two new collabs, with the Ghostbusters collab having the amazing Slimer flash quest¹.
• Yuki joined the STC team and proceeded to triple the site’s word count in a month².
• Starforged equipment was also introduced, giving you a reason to regret not saving any of your keys.
• And lots more!

Now then let’s get to the celebrations :D As a reminder (as covered in our recent news post) we have a STC artifact blueprint releasing during T16 so your heroes (that are able equip it) can show off in style:

We’re also running one of those pretty cool worker giveaways – this year we are giving 3 lucky winners a paid worker of their choice (or a pile of gems instead if they prefer/own all the workers.)

To enter the giveaway please fill in the form below. We need your player name and # ID (this is the number that displays after your username in-game), the prize you want, which anniversary we are celebrating, and if you wish answer Yuki’s most critically important question (this one is optional.)

Please make sure your player name and # number are correct. We need both – some people enter just the # number and that alone isn’t enough to identify you.

This giveaway will run until 28th April 23:59:59 UTC+0 (this is 1 second before piggy bank resets.) 3 winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries after the deadline has passed. One entry per player only – multiple entries may result in disqualification (see the FAQ at the end of this post.)

“I entered the same giveaway twice by accident!”
-I’m aware the system isn’t exactly flawless when it comes to entries – so long as they’re within a few minutes of each other I’ll just disregard the duplicate. If it’s longer than that (say a day for example) contact me before it ends so I can fix it, otherwise you’ll be disqualified.

“I’m not sure you got my entry.”
-Drop a message on the STC discord with your name and I (Rei) can check (I generally don’t accept random friend requests. Please reach out on our discord if you need confirmation of entry.)

“I entered the giveaway and won but I already bought the worker cause I thought I’d lose.”
-You’ll be given a gem equivalent amount instead.

“I tried to get clever with my giveaway answer and gave you a sum/formula that when calculated gives you the answer”
-Yeah I’m just going to count that as you giving the wrong answer.
