Your guide to the gameplay changes in 19.1
Obligatory Legal Notice: As part of the Kabam Creator Program we were given the chance to preview the update before it went live which is where the below images and footage were taken.
Introduction
Welcome to 19.1, home of the Dragonboat Festival Content Pass, guild announcements, and some quality of life adjustments. Let’s get started.
Guild Announcement, Welcome, & Pinned Messages
Guildmasters now have the option to set a guild announcement and a welcome message. The guild announcement appears on the guild details screen and can be viewed by anyone looking at it. For example, here’s one set with an important message from our guildmaster:

You can also set a welcome message that will display to any new member who joins your guild:

Both of these messages can be edited by the guildmaster in the settings tab for the guild:

Guilds can also now set a pinned message for their chat. Unlike the above feature which is only for guildmasters it’s also possible for officers to pin a message. This is done by pressing/holding down on the message you want to pin – here’s a quick video showing the process:
Only one message can be pinned at a time. You don’t need to unpin the existing pinned message if you want to replace it, you can just attempt to pin a second message and it’ll ask you if you want to replace the current one.
Dragonboat Festival Content Pass
The Fantastic Dragonboat Festival Content Pass is coming on May 19th!
May 19th
As in it doesn’t start on the update day but instead starts 1 week later.
4 new blueprints can be found in the pass including, for the first time outside of a new tier/LCoG, a familiar blueprint.
- It’s another 5,100 points to fully complete all tasks
- As always it is 1,500 gems for the premium side of the pass
- Some of the shard rewards you see in the pictures above will actually be blueprints, they just turned into shards because I already own them.
- Nothing majorly tricky here.
Other Changes
- The T15 Dual Wield Blueprint (Nook & Cranny) has had its stats rebalanced cause they were kinda bad before.
- The auto-select feature for timewarp components works as you think it would now. It’ll default to picking the timewarp component you have the lowest amount of and should hopefully avoid any more incidents of sending out quests and forgetting to have set something to warp beforehand.
- Sondra’s building now matches the other worker buildings instead of having its own personal level curve.
- Ancient Jungle should drop less ick now when it comes to quality items – no more T12 drops on Extreme difficulty.
And that about covers it. Go forth and pin messages I guess? :D

The timewarp auto-select should also be changed so that it doesn’t select a component for which you don’t have a full stack of.
